Wyndham opens world’s largest Tryp property in Dubai

Wyndham Worldwide has opened Tryp by Wyndham Dubai in the emirate’s Barsha Heights neighbourhood.

The property is the biggest of the more than 100 Tryp hotels and features 650 rooms, including 25 fitness rooms and 25 family rooms, which feature separate living rooms with convertible sofa bed and an extra bathroom.

Tryp by Wyndham Dubai will also feature "Nest", one of the region's first full-service co-working spaces integrated with an international hotel brand, providing a fully equipped shared work and meeting area.

Hotel manager Jo-Ella Moore said:"Tryp by Wyndham is a brand that is powered by the city. When you stay at Tryp by Wyndham, you're one of us - and we're all locals. Savvy and streetwise, we know all the best restaurants, the coolest spots and the fastest ways to tap into the city you came to explore. This is why we are in Barsha Heights - an upcoming thriving and urban community that is just easy access to work or play and home to many small businesses. To uncover Dubai's unique culture, you don't have to go far, because Tryp brings the city to you. It's the energy and pulse of Dubai that we bring through the selection of our associates whom we call Trypsters. They can tell our guests about off the beaten paths in Dubai that's not in guidebooks. We are tapping into different distribution channels as we would like to really capture travellers from different parts of the world who want to experience Dubai from a local's point of view. We have a fair share of business coming from Online and Offline. Travel Agents and tour operators are very important too as these segments have strong hold in certain markets like the GCC markets, CIS, India, China and more."

“I have really enjoyed the event. It’s always great to have different stakeholders from the industry come together and have this sort of dialogue. It’s to have a forum where people are accessible and we can all connect and chat – where it’s not so big and too daunting to get involved. It’s been a lovely day.”
